Lifted Trucks.

All of you with lifted F-150s. How is the ball joint wear on all your trucks? I am considering lifting my truck but I hunt alot and the truck sees alot of rough roads and do not want to be chaning them out alot. Or would I be better off with a body lift? Here is the truck as it sits now.

Go with a 6" Fabtech lift I have not heard of anything bad with this kit! If you want to keep the stock ride then go with a PA 3" BL

You will wear out ball joints faster than you would with a non lifted truck. Just comes with the territory.

But if you use good Ball Joints such as Spicer you can get 3-4 years out of them if you do not beat the truck.

mine went out around 80k miles. pretty easy miles to. but when i replaced them i got regreaseable ones. so im hoping they will last a long time. and the fabtech lift is very good quality. just dont get the shocks that come with the kit.

My ball joints and idler arm were replaced at 60,000 miles. I was running 33's for about 56,000 of those miles.
