I am sure the guy I mentioned above could help you find a good price for it.
The stacked blocks are 5.5", not 3"

Actually, I measured mine last night. I have the 6" stage 1 PC lift that comes with the block you stack with the factory block. It measured a total of 4.5". I was curious to see if I would gain any height by swapping to a solid block or not. Looks like I would gain 1 inch.

I'm running the Fabtech "basic" lift. its also a 6"

In this kit, it replaces the rear factory lift block with a one peice steel 3" lift block

and my truck sits perfectly level.

Fabtech also offers a steel 5" lift block for those who go with the adjustable coilovers and plan to crank them up.

just

SDo you have one three inch block? And the 6 inch shocks in the front? That doesn't make sense.

Really? Your truck sits level? On my PC stage 1 the front is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches higher than the back. And if I measured right - I have a total of 4.5" of blocks in the rear currently. It is definetly noticeable that it doesn't sit level. I am really considering the 5.5 block but also considering a 2" AAL since I would like the extra ability to tow trailers without the rear squatting as much. Maybe I'll just have to do the 5.5 block, 2" AAL, and upgrade to bilsteins up front and crank 'em 2".

I was under the impression the stage 1 Fabtech came with the 5" block.....interesting....

My truck isn't at the shop today, so I will have to wait til I get home, but I'll do some research and see what I find. I'll letcha all know.

Red face

ok... called my buddy Mark (works over at Fabtech) and looks like yall were right. It gains 3" (roughly) over the factory lift block and thats where I musta got my info.

He told me Fabtech only offers a 5" rear lift block.

Kinda embarassed here, and I do apologize for the confusion.

and JD: yes my truck does sit perfectly level, but squats pretty good when i tow a heavy load. Looking into some air bags or maybe AAL.

Thhe AAL is my choice. Didn't affect my ride at all, and I'm very nit picky about what I can feel in the road and stuff

Thanks for the input. Thats EXACTLY what I have been worried about.

What size AAL did you go with ?

and JD: this is my truck on flat, level ground. Just so you can get an idea of what I mean by "level" . ** I do NOT have adjustable coils, so no "extra" lift up front.

I went with the 2 inch AAl, but unless yuo put somethin up front your gonna look goofy when your not under load.

I have the Pro Comp stage 1 lift, and it added a 2.5" block to the existing 2" factory block... needless to say I had the Pro Comp squat.

I don't like squaty or even perfectly level trucks, so I added the Pro Comp AAL and couldn't be happier with the results. My ride feels about the same as before, or maybe even a little it better. The PC AAL is a long leaf, and they tend to have less effect on the ride than the shorts AALs
