8" rize owners...I need help
I too am about to go with the 8" rize but I want to run some 38s. Will I have any problems (lets say perhaps, rubbing?) and if so, what could I do to fix the problem.
liftITupHIGH, be sure to post pics if/when you get it done cause I'd love to see how yours comes out.

If you want to run 38s, just get the Bilstein shocks made for the stock vehicles and run them with the Rize 8" spacer. Crank them up for another 2" of lift and than get a 4" add-a-leaf or 4" leaf pack for the rear.
Well you were told wrong, it'd be a different story if you were running stock tires. I had 37s and 4.88s, great combo.

I got my gears from 4wheelparts the price was just over 600 I think, and install was another 750, and a true-trac for around 500.

I didn't order a drive shaft, and I have the bilstein 5150's.

Here's my truck with the 8" Rize Ind. lift.......

My recommendations....

My recommendations....
- Get the Stainless Brake lines
- Go with a Skyjacker 4" AAL for the rear
- Bilsteins Shocks, front and back. (Crank them if you wanna run 38's)
- Install the lift, drive it for a week, and decide if you really need the extended drive shaft. (I personally didn't)

Do the stainless brake lines give the truck a better braking feel, or no difference? I know on the race quads we build they make night and day difference.
