easy lifting

i have a 2002 xlt 4x4 4.6 and was wondering what is the best way to get a little lift. I want to get 33 tires but dont want them to look like they are crammed in the wheel well. I know i could always raise the torsion bars to make it level but was looking for ways to lift the whole truck. Any ideas?
ya i thought of that but personally dont like them. Unless done right with gap guards, bumper lifts, and having step rails. Plus i am thinking something a little cheaper till i can save money for 4" sus. lift.

i think i ended up with about 2 inches maybe a little more. As far as the ride. Rolling down the street you would never know it. But however if you hit a pothole or speedbump its enough to tell. Once you get use to it though its fine. Its all about what you use your truck for. If its all for looks, I wouldn't recomend going this route. I do a lot of towing, and wanted to stiff up the springs in the back. I also wanted to add a baby lift. So it was pretty logical for me to go AAL. This setup also seems to do well offroad. I have taken this truck places Ford never designed it to go.
You won't believe this but i put 315/75/16 which is equal to 35's just by cranking my torsion bars and doing a little bit of cutting of the plastic bumper and using a hammer to hammer in the metal piece behind the fender extensions , hope that helps.

what about buying keys?
side note: most aftermarket torsion keys sell fpr 200+ (i believe) a 3" bodylift is gonna run you in the same ball park add gap gaurds and its around 250-300... and it doesnt over stress your suspension!
