man i got 35" AT's locked up front and rear. i can gun that 4.6L and not worry about breaking ANYTHING that was ford. i did however ruin both the lunchbox lockers from richmond gear. i dont play nice with my truck and i've NEVER had any real problems or breaks i can say was from the lift or tires in any way. 160k on wheel bearings when one went out. 150k on ball joints when replaced... stout trucks man.
