Need Help

I am looking to put a small lift on my 03 f150 supercrew and cant decide which one to go with.I am looking at a 3" body lift verses a 2.5" suspension which just basically consists on new torsion keys and blocks for the back.I really want to go with the body lift because I have been told that I will not get a true 2.5" of lift with the keys and blocks. On the other hand I am worried about how much of the underneath will be exposed with a 3" body lift.Does anybody have any pics of of their truck with a 3" body lift on it that would give me an idea of how it would look. Also,I am running 285/75/R16 tires, would these look ok?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you don't need any lift to fit 285's. Don't waste your money on the aftermarket torsion bar adjustment keys. They just allow you to put way too much preload on the torsion bars which will destroy your ride quality and cause increased wear and tear on your CV and ball joints. You can easily crank up the preload on your torsion bars with the oem keys enough to level your truck. If this isn't enough lift, add the body lift.
Also, I have a ton of pics in my gallary.

Do you think 285's would look to small with a 3" body lift?It looks like your truck turned out nice. Thanks for the help.

285's will deff. look too small with a 3" body lift....I had 315/75/16 tires on mine with a body lift and had minimal rubbing...305"s would fit easily

go for a 6" lift. It looks alot better in my opinion and you may regret it later if you go for 3" now. just my opinion
