Alignment question.
Alignment question.
i am getting ready to install my auto spring 2 inch spacer and aal for now and i know i need an alignment after wards.do yall know if its going to be a toe adjustment or a caster/camber adjustment.if it is caster/camber then i will need a cam bolt kit too.i am wondering because im going to do my own alignment at work and noone there has delt with spacers.id hate to tear the front end apart to do spacers put it together and then i have to tear it down again to install cam bolt kit.any help is appreciated.by the way my truck is 2 wheel drive.
I put the 2" level kit on my '06 Screw 2wd. When they aligned it, the toe was way off and the camber/caster was still dead on. Don't let them try to screw you getting adjustable camber bolts. The guy at Autospring said he's installed thousands of these kits and never once has had to do a camber adjustment.
awsome thats all i need to know.i can do toe adjustments i just dont have experience with caster camber and if caster camber needed to be adjusted then i would need cam bolts.thanks for the quick responses guys yall have been a great help.work is a little slow so i might put these on today.ill let yall know how it goes.
ok guys i got my aal and as installed i had alot of toe adjustment to do but everything else was fine.i notice my uca are angled down pretty good.but it looks great.btw these are 2 inch spacers and i got 2.5 out of it.i like the way it looks but now its time to save my pennies for the actual lift and whatnot.i will take pics when i get a chance.hell i need to create a gallery.i have one on the other site.
