The Final Decision

Ok, so this is what I plan for this summer, and sticking to it instead of changing my mind yet once again..

A Skyjacker 3" lift kit... but I dont know about the components... which shocks i should get the nitrogen shocks or the hydraulic shocks.

Then I plan on getting the XD Monsters size 18" with TOYO M/T's in 35's

What ya'll think, does it all fit together, and any of your input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

Did skyjacker fix their 3 inch lift?

I know when it came out several members on here had it and the lift cause nasty angles. Many people removed the lift.

If they havent fixed it then i suggest getting a 2.5 inch leveling kit, only .5 less, and getting an aal. Then you could throw on some 35's.

I agree. I think a leveling kit or a set of Bilstiens would be a much better choice than the 3 inch Skyjacker. Also, to fit 35x12.50's with only 2 to 3 inches of lift you will need to use the oem wheels or an aftermarket wheel with specs almost identical to the oem wheels (which are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing).

would this be too far off with the 35's??

I started off with the skyjacker 3" lift, and i'm telling you from personal experience that you want be happy with it.
Best thing would be pickup the leveling kit and save the extra cash for a real lift.

Yes, you wont' be able to fit 35's using a 9 inch wide wheel with only 2 to 3 inches of lift. You need an 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing. Personally, I'd go with the wheels you've chosen and drop down to a 33 inch tire.
