$100 per side to install Bilstein shocks???

Just called local suspension shop to get price on installing shocks. I bought two 5100 adjustable shocks for the front (Not from them). I know these take a bit more effort to install than regular ones, but $100 per side......come on!!! $200!!!! Thats almost more than I paid for the shocks.....

I've searched extensivly on the 5100 shocks, and other members have taken theirs to shops to install and didn't pay this much.......Is my local shop full of it or what???

I think it's a pretty good price considering you have to take the coil completely out compress it to get the old shock out of there and then replace with new shocks. It's not a simple job like the rear shocks are especially since you didn't buy the shocks from them. It's pretty common for an install to be more than parts cost on any truck.
