2.5 leveling block install

I bought a billet aluminum block off ebay several months ago to level my '07. I started to install it but didn't want to tear anything up since it didn't want to come apart very easily and I use hammers very liberally! I took it to a shop and they couldn't figure out how to install it. To my knowledge, there are two setups; a spacer between the coil and the upper mount which requires compressing and disassembling the coilover assembly, and a spacer that fits between said assembly and strut tower. The directions call to rotate the strut assembly 180 degrees in order for the studs to line up. The shop said it won't mount that way because of the camber to the top of the strut. My question is, are they just retarded? Can the strut assembly be rotated 180degrees, mounted to the spacer, then mounted to the bucket as the directions state?

As a matter of fact, it is the NCD. How did you go about installing it? DIY, or take it to a shop? What was my shop doing wrong?

I did it myself . I had a friend to help . I just read the instructions a couple times . and had all the tools . It wasn't alll that hard . Not sure about your shop . Sounds like they need to just changing oil !here's a pic.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...998&anum=14512

Right on. Looks good. Did you drop the lower ball joint or the upper one to seperate the arms? I was thinking, drop the lower one, and the tie rod end and it should drop it out just fine. Were you able to get the ball joint out without tearing it up at all?
