Installing a fabtech 3.5" spindle lift and came across a problem..the tie rod end and ball joints bolts are turning while I am trying to tighten the nut...cant really grab onto anything because of the rubber boots..any ideas?

You should be able to put a socket wrench on the end of the bolt to hold it in place and keep it from turning, then tighten the nut with an open ended wrench.

i would have done that if it were possible....there is nowhere to grab onto the bolt....there is a rubber boot covering everything except the very end where the nut goes..and when the nut is on there is no bolt left to grab onto...i used and air wratched and just held some pliers on that rubber boot but no good..still wouldnt tighten...and the rubber doesnt come off
