3" Block??? Pros, Cons..... HELP!

I want to get a 2.5" leveling kit and put 35's on my fx4, and have about 3" rear blocks... I don't do any towing but still want a higher beefier look... If I get the 3" block, what will it do to my ride quality? and Will 35's fit under without the block?

Thanks

MH

Yes, I think those Tires would fit with out the block. The rear 3" block would give you additional lift, with out sacrificing ride quality. You will retain stock flex, and factory ride quality, just be sitting up a bit higher. I would only suggest it if you are looking to keep that "raked" look.

no problem... "raked" means the front sits lower then your rear. Right now, with your truck, your rear should be sitting about 2" or so taller in the rear.

The 3" block replaces the factory 1.5" block out back with the new 3" block. So you would keep the rear taller then the nose with both the block and the AS 2.5" leveling kit.

Thanks, any benefits to the raked look? Or is it simply for looks.... Could it help with MPG and areodynamics?

not sure you would gain any MPG's. Wouldn't make much of a (noticable) difference.

The raked looks in a benefit for any guys who tow or haul. You don't want to have your truck sag. Its bad when towing a heavy load. Keep it raked, so when you tow the heavy load, or haul a big pile of rocks, the truck will then sit level, not hurting your towing/hauling ability. (if that makes sense)
