sway bar/ stabilizer bar connection

I am not sure what it is called. The oem is black about 8" or so and connects the sway bar/stabilizer bar to the frame by the wheel. I got one from the local parts store, and it is a different style. the oem is covered with rubber, and sort of conical in shape. this new one just has the rubbers and bolt/nuts one each end the middle is just bare bolt with a sleeve on it.
my question is does it make any difference, the price is quite a big difference.

What truck is it for? I just replaced mine on an 04 XLT 5.4 4x4 with moog links from Rock Auto. I think I paid 28 or 34 each for them. They are like and L shape. Let me know.....
