ya Im pretty happy with the way it sits right now...definetly saving for the wheels and tires though! the 265's look decent but from certain angles they can look small. As for the rear suspension, I like the hieght of it unloaded, but last weekend my buddy and I had 2 YZ250F's, my klx110, and gear and it was sagging pretty bad, plus I tow boats all the time at work. I am looking into a 1.5" add-a-leaf, with a 1" block but I am trying to find one that will not make it ride too stiff when not loaded down. Also I desperately want a silver grille surround and mirror covers so if anyone is willing to trade for chrome or knows where I can get them cheaply please let me know! I already called the local Ford recyclers. Anyway hope the pics help, and the lift spindles on ebay from 4x4toybox for $215 are legit, so dont hesitate...I think they atually gave me closer to 4"! Truck drives like it did when it was totally stock with zero issues! I also just did new wheel bearings, had the rotors turned, and new wagner thermoquiet pads so its almost all buttoned up - just trying to decide what shocks I want.

I also am looking for a 4wd lower valence with fogs...with or without tow hooks...let me know if you have one and are willing to trade or know where I can pick one up for not too much money. Thanks!

Something that's similar to what yall are talking about is adding an AAL and cranking the torsion bars. I did this and it looks great. The AALs beefed up the rear so it doesn't squat as much with a load. I fit 305/70/17 Buckshots on stock wheels with no rubbing. The AALs cost me $52.00 from JC Whitney. Just thought I'd share this info. Good luck!

2wd trucks dont have torsion bars. and the front is already up high. for the rear id sugest just a 2" block. any aal will make the rear ride harsher. however itll not make the rear sag as much when you tow or haul. for your case id live with the ride to gain driveability when you tow since you do it often. as for the parts try lmc truck. they are the only place besides ford or junkyards that have stock parts.

ok thanks for the tip...ya it already has 2" blocks in the rear, I just am not sure if I want to put an add-a-leaf and live with the stiffend ride everyday or not. It drives almost the same with a load as without, it just looks sagged out, so I am undecided at this point. I also just thought about possibly adding helper springs as I dont believe that they affect the ride when not loaded down...any imput on those? I was also told that since I still have the original shocks that any shock that I put on is going to be stiffer and it drives & rides great right now, except that my old daystar leveling kit made the spring bend and it bent the dust shield on the factory shocks so they make a little bit of squeling noise that bugs me. I just cant decide what route to go right now...it sucks! But im stoked with the way the truck looks for sure!

o i didnt realize you already had a block back there. maybe you should go with a 3 or 4" block and new shocks, not too stiff a ride but will help when you tow/haul and will give you the height you want. also look into adjustable shocks like the rancho 9000 or pro comp mx6. soft for unloaded, stiff for using the truck. dont know anything about the helper springs. sorry.

ya I thinking about a 3" block also, but I think I like the nose high stance, until I load the back down anyway. Do you think that the adjustable shocks would raise the back when wieghted down if you stiffened them up...I thought that they just controlled the stiffness of the suspension travel, however I could definetly be wrong. Thanks for the ideas!

cool, glad I could help..I did so much searching before for trucks with the setup before I did it...everybody said it could be done but there were never any pics or anything. Anyway you will definelty be happy with it and those supercrews need to be lifted anyway! Let me know if you have any questions, I am more than willing to help.
