hmm... i have a question... i have an 03 fx4 5.4l. i am looking to upgrading to 35's and a body lift. that's it. right now i have 3.55's LS. i am looking to upgrade to regear, and gain a realized gearing of the stock 3.73 LS. With 35's, would 4.56's or 4.88's be best? i am not looking to kill my mileage either... what kind of fuel economy am i looking at here?

So you want an effective final ratio equal to that of 3.73's? With your setup 4.10's would be ideal. If you really think that this is "it," I would go ahead and do 4.10's. Your truck will perform just like it a new f-150 with 3.73's and 32 inch stock tires. You can re-use the LS unit you have in there as well. your highway rpms/ mileage will be fine.

ok, thanx! yes, i am sure this is it... i am just looking to make my truck able to handle its own off road, and not looking to have the biggest lift/tire combo. 35's will be it for me, no stacking a suspension lift on the body lift or going 37's+ for me.
