I don't know much about lifts. But what is the difference. Don't you have a body lift or is that something different ?

naw he has a suspension lift and front spacers (leveling kit) Ive heard that the body lift will cause it to tilt alot just cause it makes it a lil bit top heavy..it will give it a clean look tho, and you can fit bigger tires

never heard of a body loft, but i have got a 3" body lift on my 05. it looks great with nerf bars and gap guards...none of my buddies think its bodied until i tell them. i took it out to the desert 2 weeks ago and everything held up perfectly fine...and i was pretty hard on it. plus a body lift gives you a good amount of clearance...personally, i think i could get some 38's under it right now.

Your truck looks great. Nice work.

IMO body lifts are a cheap alternative to a suspension lift that can turn out awesome if done right. By done right, I mean clean (gap guards, I relocated my trailer light assembly, a couple of other minor things also).

I had mine out on Silver Lake Sand Dunes over the summer and same thing, everything held up great and the 35's did awesome, plenty of clearance also.

I will at least have a body lift on my next truck, if not a suspension lift.

There is nothing wrong with a properly designed body lift like the Performance Accessories kits.

Nothing wrong with a body lift, now body lofts are a different story. They are horrible and break all the time, I wouldn't trust one. Seriously though if you're going to do a body lift, do it right. Gap guards, nerf bars to hide the frame, relocated trailer hitch (unless you tow a lot of weight), relocated bumpers ( ..of course !!) and mount the tow hooks cleanly.

Have you ever seen another company that makes them? ... or are you talking about the rednecks that try to use hockey pucks and 4x4s?

I absolutely love mine. Someone was talking about being top heavy, i think anything that already has a 8inch rize is top heavy. There are alot of different body lifts. You just have to look.

There are only a couple companies making them. PA is the largest and most respected. Trailmaster still makes them I believe.

if you think about that logically, that makes no sense. lets assume some one makes a 3" suspension lift, just for agument sake. if you do a 3" suspension lift, the frame and the body move up 3". if you do a 3" body lift, only the body moves up, the frame stays at stock hight. therefor, with the body lift, less weight is actually moving up so in theory, the suspension lift would cause the truck to tilt more because the suspension lift, moves more parts up then a body lift.

anyways, to the OP, what do you need a body lift for? dont you already have 11" of lift? 14 will look better tho. any newer pics of your truck?

pa is the only company that makes the body lifts now. they bought it from trailmaster. if you go to the trailmaster site and go to body lifts it automatically directs you to pa.

That looks really good, very clean. What I meant was, I just moved the trailer plug up. I drilled a hole through the top of the tow package and remounted them on top when the rear bumper was off. I didn't physically move the whole tow package. I know Wandell just flipped his upside down to clean it up. Both ways look good IMO. Here's a shot of my rear
