Rancho Shocks

I was wondering if i bought some rancho shocks that came off a '05-'06 f250 super duty...(same mounting style)

-Could i fit them under my 2000 f150 4x4 to raise it a little and maybe level it out?
-If they fit, would there be any negative side effects?

No, shocks do not support any weight on your truck.

I would be willing to bet that the shocks will not interchange.

And Wandell is right. Shocks will have no effect on ride height.

Remember this...correct fit because the mounts are the same is probably 10% of the equation. Correct lenght, fully extended and fully collapsed is the other 40%. The internal valving is the critical component and makes up the other 50% of having a correct shock...and I'll all but guarantee you the shocks for a SC are valved waaaaay different than what your truck needs. I wouldn't run that set up even if they did fit!!

And as mentioned...shocks don't add lift nor support any weight what so ever. Think about it...if you can take a shock and collapse it with your hands do you think it's gonna push your truck up any??
