I have the 1.5" AS AAL in the back and the 2.5" in the front. I cant tell a difference in the way that it rides, and no it does not squeak

Truck looks great! Throw some 35's on there and you'll be all set.

the advantage of a AAL opposed to the block is the ability to still haul heavy objects in the bed and not have it sit nose high. The block will level the truck just the same as the AAL but will not give the additional payload capacity. For example the AS AAL that I put in my truck I think said it increased the capacity by 950lbs. I tow a camper and haul my four wheeler alot, so I thought the extra capacity would be good. If you dont use the truck to haul or tow alot than the block would be fine. And just so you know, the AS AAL has not affected the ride of truck any. I honestly cant tell a difference what so ever. Some people say it stiffens the ride. one last thing, the block raises the rear 1" the AAL raises it 1.5". I have pics in my gallery if your interested.

Not sure about the other brands, but the Skyjacker comes with teflon pads that snap into the ends of the leaf spring. This is to reduce metal to metal contact. Mine don't squeak.

I got my Skyjacker AAL from summitracing.com, about $130. Did the install myself, pretty easy.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that I have netted 2" of lift in the rear on both my 05 and 07 Screws with the 1.5" Skyjacker.

Fifty150, man you really need to reduce the size of that pic. It makes these threads hard to read.

Cool........I am an avid deer hunter here in Texas, so I pull a trailer quite a bit and haul feed and stuff in the bed. Might be better for me to do the AS AAL.

Thanks for the explanation.
