Question about lift design

I've been researching the different lifts available for my truck, 2000 F150 4x4 offroad, 265x70x17. I have noticed a difference in the way the rear is lifted between kits. Some use blocks and some add an extra leaf. I thought I had read here somewhere that adding an extra leaf is the way to go, but I can't seem to find it. Is one way better than the other or does it not matter? Thanks

AAL's are better if you tow or haul a lot. They affect your ride minimally, but some people hate it.

My truck bounces around corners if they're bumpy enough.

They are pretty much all the same. I like my Autospring one. It seems thicker than other brands. Plus, they can make one for whatever lift amount you're wanting.

Hope that helps.

Do you already have lift blocks? If so you do not want to stack them, and anything higher than 2-3 inches is no good.

A lift block will keep your ride the same, just bump up the height however big the block is. An add a leaf will stiffen up the rear suspension and give you the extra lift. I prefer add a leaf myself.
