4" Add a leaf spring??

Im in need of a 4" add a leaf, but am having trouble finding the right one. Im looking for the long style to keep the smooth ride. Ive found the skyjacker plenty of places but no one, not even the guy at skyjacker could tell me if it was long or short. Deaver wasnt much help they just wanted me to buy 4" lift leaf packs already, which is what i should do but id like to get gears in asap. Anyone know where to find a 4" lift, add a leaf, long style or that could help me out? thanks guys..

I got the skyjack 4" AAL. Going to be installing it soon as I figure out a safe way to get the truck high enough in the air to remove the current springs. I think I got mine at performancelifts.com. I'm at work and I'll check my shipping label when I get home.

it should be possible. the key is how they arch the leaf, that is how you will get your desired height. if i were in your shoes i would go with a whole new leaf pack from deaver to get your full amount of rear lift. either way with any type of AAL, your ride quality is going to change.

I want deaver leaf packs, bad..but have not been able to find them for less than 600-700 bucks (cant really remember) where is the cheapest place to find them? if i could find them cheaper it be all good, i just dont want to eat too much of the funds for gears.

yea a set of deavers would be your best bet. my guess straight from deaver is probably were to go. anywhere else they will try and make some $$ off your purchase.

I hear Atlas makes good leaf springs as well... I would email them or give them a call and see how much they are asking for a new leaf pack.
