Front End Alignment????????????

My 2006 F150 XLT SC, has 63,000 miles on the clock. I just recently put on 4 brand new tires. I stuck with the same BFGs, cause they ride so dam smooth.

After getting the tires mounted and balanced, the truck always did track straight as an arrow, and it still tracks straight and smooth as a whistle. So do I need to get a front end alignment, if the truck tracks straight?

I am under the impression that when you put on new tires, the front end should be aligned.

Thanks in advance,
BTW, my first truck, so pardon the stupidity..

You shouldn't need an alignment with just new tires unless the old tires showed signs of uneven wear.

Thanks man, the old tires wore evenly, and the trucks rides straight and true.

Thanks

Agreed, I wouldn't worry about it.

I, however, align my vehicles every 3 months. Might be overkill, but it's worth it to me. Plus NTB has good specials on "warranties."

Actually, I paid 120$ for unlimited alignments for 3 years. They do special deals if you have multiple cars as well. And they give an alignment report every time they align it. Plus, I watch em.

I hear ya. I'm not completely incompetant, so I tend to know when things aren't right on my truck. People have tried screwing me over before and failed miserably.

That is where I am at, going on 64,000 miles, and 59,000 has been towing 4 to 5 thousand lbs, and she tracks straight, true and smooth.

I will be taking it in for the 60, 000 mile big service check. Hate to do it cause like I said she is running like brand new. But, I think that tranny needs to be flushed, and new chit put in..

I got a hellva a truck!!!
