Just installed the autospring 2" kit on my 07 4x4 supercrew last weekend, not a hard install at all. The only problem that I has was getting the lower control arm/strut assembly bolt back in. I did measure mine prior to install and it was also about 1 3/4". Make sure to get an alignment when your done!

I just swapped out my 2" for a 2.5" and they barley look different. I didn't measure but it was a hair difference. Funny thing is it lifted my truck at least a 1/2" more.

AS spacers are sized by how much lift they give, not how thick they are. By pusing down the LCA 1.75" you lower the ball joint by 2", kinda works like a class 2 lever. Hope my explination helps.

The instructions tell you how thick the spacers are. I think it says the 2" is actually 1 5/8" and the 2.5" is 1 3/4". Install is simple. It took me a little over an hour doing it myself. The hardest part for me was hooking up the upper control arm ball joint to the spindle. I had to jack up the lower arm and use a pry bar on the upper arm to stab the balljoint.
