spindle lift

Is all I need for a spindle lift is the actually two spindles to put in the front on my 2001 2WD? Or do I need to buy the whole package with all the new shocks and what not?

since all a spindle does is lower the wheel and doesnt affect the suspension you dont need anything. your brakes will be lower so your brake lines might be too short, probably not with just a 3.5" spindle. youll probably want to upgrade shocks cause your probably getting a spindle to fit bigger tires so youll need better shocks to control the tires. also most spindles dont work with stock wheels cause they push the wheels out about .5-1" depending on the brand so you might need new wheels or maybe just some spacers. i dont know if thats everything, other people will fill in what ive forgotten.

The front can retain your current shocks, but you'll need blocks and new shocks for the rear for it to ride level. The shocks for the rear require an additional 2" of travel to accomidate the blocks.

If you go with the fabtech spindle and want to run bigger tires you will need new wheels. If you try to re-use your stock wheels and mount a 12.5" wide tire they will rub on the top part of the spindle. You would have to get a wheel with less backspacing. I'm not sure if other spindles have this problem but I know fabtech does.
