question about lift

I have a 99 with a v6 and been looking for a lift and every place i look at says there kit fits v8 trucks, is there a difference between the two suspensions?

I don't beleive there is any difference.

Well i have seen some that say cant fit V6 Standard Cab, do you have a std cab v6?
