2000 F150 scab lift
I have been reading on all the lifts I see and looking at places to buy them and cost.
Can some of you give me some feedback on different lifts. I like the Rancho Skyjacker fabtec and superlift. I would also consider the body lift as its more for looks than off-road. I want to put 35's on it and I'm sure I will need to change the gearing since it only a 4.6 with offroad package.
Can I get some ideas on what you all think of each. Not sure if it matters but it's also a flairside

If you want suspension, I'd go Fabtech, they seem to be the most common and are very dependable. If all you're looking to do is throw some 35's on there for cheap, you can get away with a 3" body lift by Performance Accessories. Some hate em, some love em, it's just a matter of personal preference, but they do work for small cheap lifts.
You could probably get away without regearing with 35's, but I'm not too sure. If you have the cash, I would definitely recommend doing it though.

If you go suspension, go with RCD. It is the best made for our trucks. It comes with adjustable Bilstein shocks. You can fit your 35s witht that lift. Also, since you have a 4.6, it is almost a definite for you to regear. But since you have a 4. and the 3.55, it is a definite that you need to regear.

I would go with a 6in Fabtech cause thats what i have. When i was running 35's i had the stock 3.55 gears for a little less then a year but i had the 5.4. The power wasnt all that bad. So if you dont tow then dont waste your money on gears untill you atleast have the lift on with the 35's and can see for your self. If you want more power then get some 4.10 or 4.56 gears. When i had my 35's i was getting around 19-20 mpg on the high way. I also have the edge evo so that helps some.
On my curent set-up i have 37's and around 10inch of lift with my stock gears. Its not to bad but i will be adding some 4.56 or 4.88 gears this spring.
