Anyone have a Rancho 4" lift?

The Rancho site states 285's (33") with 16x8 wheels. Anyone put 35" on this or any other 4" lift? I drive my truck everyday so I'm limiting myself to 4" and not going the 6" like some kits offer. The Rancho seems to be well engineered and I have used them in the past on my Wrangler so I'm leaning that way. I'd like to see some installed on around a 2000 model year and tire sizes that are being used. A BL is out of the question so thanks but no thanks if you might suggest that route.

Pics or galleries of pics would be nice to see the finished result.

TN, the photo's in the gallery are 305/70 16's mounted on 16X10's. Sorry, I don't remember the back spacing for the life of me. A 305/70 actually measures somewhere around 33 1/4 X 12 (I think) is BFG's specs. Obviously running those with zero problems.

I currently have a 325/70 16 Nitto Terra Grappler which is closer to a 34 X 13. Running it on the same wheels as above, also with zero problems.

I think Rancho advertises that size wheel/tire combo so you don't have to trim the corner of the front valance. With anything like mine, you'll have to trim off a bit. But it's a piece of cake and affects nothing. Doesn't rub anywhere else at any time.

FWIW, I'm going back to a 305/70 next tire purchase because I want a Toyo M/T and they don't make the 325/70 in that tire, and I don't want to go with a full 35 because I tow a lot and don't want to take away from my gearing any. Just personal preference, nothing else.

Thanks Galaxy, I appreciate it.

And thanks for your service to our Country! I really admire and respect all our folks in uniform, no one else like'em. I have a brother-in-law in the Air Force at Wright-Pat. I think he's got about 20 years now...Anyway, thanks again!

You can fit 35x12.50's on a 10 inch wide wheel (with 4.5 inches of backspacing) with the 4 inch Rancho lift. If you want to get an idea of what it will look like, take a look at my gallary. It will be about the same height as my Screw with a 3 inch body lift and the torsion bars cranked up.

Thanks TN for the comments!! We always appreciate the support. This is funny too...I'm stationed in Cali but born and raised in NC. You never really pay too much attention to what goes on around you at home...guess you become immune to it. Well, I just went to NC on vacation two weeks ago and from the first day I was there I noticed (and could not believe) the support and attitude of everyone for the military and everything that's going on. Commercials on the radio, signs up everywhere, people that know me all up in my space, and on and on. It was almost overwhelming compared to Cali. People back home are definately a different breed than these friggin bleeding heart liberals out here!! You never ever get that kind of support from people out here. So for that...thank you also!

When my time is up, I'm definately headed back South East!!!!

Well, you all deserve our support and I have no respect for anyone thinks otherwise. I know the sacrifice you and your families make to be there for ALL of us. When my brother in law was stationed over seas for several years, I know how much he, my sister and the kids gave up for him to do his duty.

I'm originally from Indiana, 36 years, (transplanted here via Texas ) and it's the same there as here, we all back the Armed Forces.

Have a safe New Years eve and a Happy New Year!
