Bump Steer? & Drop Hangers? (Two Questions)
I have an '05 Super Crew and installed the Ground Force 2/5 kit. It seems that I am now getting some bump steer. A friend of mine told me that this is common when lowering a vehicle with rack & pinion steering, and there are kits to correct it. The only kits I've found are for cars, mostly the Mustangs.
Anyone else have this problem?
Also, when I did the flip kit, the rear dropped waay too much. So much that I had to put in an add-a-leaf (1.5") to get the stance correct. The ride's not too bad, but it's really noticeable when I hit washboards, rail raod crossings, etc. The rear gets real jumpy. Are there any drop hangers that I could combine with my old 2" drop shackles so I could ditch the flip kit and add-a-leafs?
Visually I love it with the 22's, but I miss my smooth ride. It's not terrible, but it no longer rides like a car, but more like an empty truck.
