4" Rancho 05 FX4

[QUOTE=Copenhagen848]Well, I guess it depends on what kind of driving you do. I opted for the RS9000X adjustable shocks. I don't go off road that much so I can adjust them for a softer ride around town, etc. When I go hunting, I adjust them to a stiffer setting for going through the woods, etc. And it does not come with replacement coilovers, you install a longer shock in the OEM ones.
thanks. how often do u adjust them? is it difficult or do these come with a remote? i hardly ever would go offroad as well. are the 9000x the basic ones that come with the kit. much appreciated

The basic shock is the RS5000:

The Rancho kit does not come with shocks, you need to buy them separately, however most places you can order the kit from sell the kit and shocks as a package. Most packages I've seen have the RS9000X shocks included.

If your not dead set on a Rancho Lift, you might want to look at the 4.5" Superlift. That is what I have and I've had no problems. It uses a coil over spacer though. I've done a little offroading and I didn't have any problems.
If cost is a concern, I paid $2200.00 installed w/ Bilsteins. I have factory shocks in the front. I believe you can get Bilsteins for the front for another $200. I'm not sure how much that will add to the install price.
