Since some 97-03 models have stock 255/70/16 tires, couldnt I just put a 3 inch body lift on my 2WD and it be pratically the same thing as a 4X4?

I have a 2004 NBS. Thanks for all the help! So basically what yall are saying is that i could purchase some OEM 4x4 coilovers and put a 2.5 spacer on them and slap them on my 4x2 and i would have around 4-4.5 Inches more up front and slap a 2" or so block on the back and i would be within safe angles and what not?

I don't believe that will work. I think the angles will be so extreme you won't even be able to get the front end bolted back together, much less aligned withen specs. If you want an inexpensive lift, I'd suggest combining a 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit and a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift.
