Removing Front Drive Axle/CVT shaft
Hello,
Recently I tore a CVJ boot while 4-wheeling... Anyways my repair manual advises to separate the spindle with the lower control arm, etc. I found a better way to do it... Place one jack on the frame and one on the lower control arm. Remove the sway bar links (both), lower/raise the suspension until the drive axle/CVJ shaft slips out. This will save some time and possibly replacing a ball joint.
P.S
This will give you an opportunity to check the sway bar bushings.
Cheers
