Shocks

would I benefit from swapping out the stock shocks and replacing with something like rancho or any other brand? would i notice a difference between new ones and the ones i have now?? also, would you consider it worth my money?

Thanks-Alex

I think i'm going to do the same thing. I might go with Rancho RS 9000's. They are about 100 bucks each and you can adjust your ride stiffness by adjusting a **** on the shock. Pretty cool!

You'll definately notice a difference if you swap them out. I'm running Bilsteins and love them. They are expensive but well worth it IMO... ANything you get though will be an improvement over stock.

I have a 2004 FX4 new style and i was thinking of up grading my shocks to Bilstein, could any body recommend a model for me. I Dont want a hard ride. Should i go with the 5100's or this one New part#: F4-BE5-A934-H0 (heavy duty). Will this one give me a harsh ride.
I'm sure anything is better than stock, but i don't want a to firm of a ride. Anybody out there that has a 04 FX4 that could give me some feedback that would be great.

Ohh i have a 2"AS installed on the front.

Thanks.

Brian.
