Awesome looking trucks guys! Can't wait to catch up to some of ya'll.
Paw, you ever take those big Ole 35's out off road? Any rubbing then? they look awfully tight in there. You say no rubbing, even at full lock? What rims are you running with? BS?

P.S. Smitty, your link didn't work. Sure would like to see some pics. I would be getting nobby Mud Terrain tires (looking at the new BFG) and want to see how it looks? And wondering how much more of a rubbing issue then an A/T ??? Thanks again everyone for all the info and the awesome pics.

I have a 2.5" AS Leveling kit on the front and a 1.5" AS AAL in the rear. 35x12.50 M/T's on 20" Aftermarket wheels - no trimming needed - but I did a little just to be safe.

2.5" Leveling Kit and 1.5" AAL with stock wheels and tires:

Ameration, Thanks for those pics. After talking to all these guys/gals I think i decided on a similiar set-up to you. I want the 2.5" leveling kit an AAL lift in the rear and I def. want some 35" tires. Whats the BS on those rims? You say no rubbing at all? You ever take it off-road? And where did you do the trimming? These trucks all look extremly nice. Again, thanks everyone for chipping in to help out the stock guy!

Mercedes, first thing I did when I put the 35's on the wheels I have now was to take it offroad and try to make them rub. Normal driving no problems. When I had them on my first set of wheels they hit pretty bad offroad and when turning during normal driving. Happy with them on 8" wheels with 5.5" backspace. Tucked in the wheelwells more also keeps the mud and rocks from hitting the sides of the truck as opposed to when they were sticking out more. 1 1/2 inches less than my 9 inch wheels.

What about if you have a 2wd screw like me, which would be better 2 or 2.5.
I'm not planning on towing anything, or putting heavy loads in the back.

I have a 2" A.S. The front sits a tad higher than the rear, so I am installing a Skyjacker AAL soon. Most 2" will net you 2.5" of lift, while the 2.5" A.S. will probably get you closer to 3" of lift. It all depends on what you what. I have pics of both in my gallery.
