I had to "custom fabricate mounting brackets using my old ones and drilling 4 new holes into the frame because my bumper is an exception and mounts with 8 bolts instead of 4. Also had to take the fog lights off cause they got in the way when I lifted the bumper. so theres just holes where the fog lights are and it looks like ****. I had to remove the plastic valence too so you can see the 2 square ends of my frame = P I'll post pics when I put my new tires on, I'm trying to fit 325/65/18's
well
that was definitely a thought, I am trying to get the biggest bang for my buck which is why I went with a body lift instead of a suspension lift and why I went through the pain in the *** to install it myself lol I figure $180 for the lift, a few cranks on the torsion bars, and about 8 or $900 (if I'm lucky) for some tires amounts to a total of about 5 to 5 1/2 inches of lift in the front and 4 to 4 1/2 inches in the back. Not bad if you ask me. So unless I can find one that someone has in their garage to sell for cheap I'll prolly just make some sort of grill looking thing to stick in the foglights. I just cranked the torsion bars so Im gonna go back out there and see if I can somehow cut the valence to make it fit. I wish I could find some used 325/65/18's with decent tread for sell for a test run...
