Which block?
Which block?
I am looking to purchase a 5" block for the rear of my 05 F150 2WD. I got a couple questions. How do i know what pin/hole measurments i need? anyone know where i can order the blocks and u-bolts online? also...i am going to have the fabtech DL's up front cranked some, will the 5" block put me close to level out back, or would i need more? Thanks in advance.
I have the 5" block from fabtech and it put my back end a little higher than front, but i have a 4x4 whereas you have 4x2. You will probably need AAL in the rear if you crank your coilovers
I just a note: ONE...JUST ONE reason the back is lower:Sudden stops......the boundries have been set if you add to what was engineered for then your at risk......what your do is being done.......I'm not against it just wanted to FYI.

What I'm saying is you have 5000 LBS. of truck lifted in the air and the rear of the truck needs to be little lower so if you have to stop suddenly (espcailly at a high rate of speed) your truck doesn't do a cartwheel. If you lift the back end up your not allowing for that resistance. The lower end gives you that. I'm all for lifting but if the lift kit company wanted the kit to be altered they would of made it the way he's looking to do. I just wanted to bring it to someone attention. The nieghbor down the road flip his truck due to adding a higher rear blocks in order to make his back higher on his lift kit.

I do see your point, but you're saying that your neighbor flipped his truck end-over-end because he lifted the back end too far?? I've just never heard of that happening. How high was his truck lifted?

I'm not quite sure you hid your tail and retreated from a little debate. It's okay, I'm not going to bite you.
