LMAO! Do you think the difference in having the rear of the truck level with the front and not doing so is going to save you from a roll over? It's not and thats coming from someone who's truck sits 2" lower in the rear. I guess now we're worrying about our center of gravity when lifting a truck? It doesn't make much sense, since you're LIFTING your truck. Of course the center of gravity is going to be higher. Just like I said, what about stock trucks? They sit 2" higher in the rear. Figure that one out in your whole scheme.

Ya and stock trucks have a very low center of gravity.....I'm saying it's better to leave the truck they way the lift comes cause that thew way the made and tested.......Given the right conditions you can flip........So lift the back end of a lifted truck higher than the front........In his case he was going down about 10 degree hill someone jacked there breaks on infront of him to make a turn and he did the and flip it.

A 10 degree hill!? LMAO! Sorry, I don't buy it. I'm done with this because apparently you're completely insane when it comes to this matter.

The question is if the flip could have been averted if his truck was level, and that is impossible to prove without an analysis of the crash data.

BullRing: please do us a favor and remove your head from your anus. The truck will skid before it flips over, unless you use God as your brakes.

I can't stop laughing, just imagine... it isn't everyday you see a truck do a front flip.

What in god's name are you talking about? Are you saying that because the truck is lifted more in the rear, then the COG is lower and the truck is prone to flipping end over end? That defies all laws of physics and my common sense...

Not to mention that lifted trucks generally have bigger tires, which decreases the brake's efficiency. I would love to know what brake/tire combo this guy had. Not only were the brakes applied so hard that the truck flipped over its nose, but the tires didn't lose traction in all of this. I know that no matter how hard I step on them, my brakes will never even come close to locking up my 35s.

He probally had a custom calipers and rotors off of a Bugatti with BFG G-Force tires. It was all custom!

If you lift the back end up your not allowing for that resistance. The lower end gives you that. I'm all for lifting but if the lift kit company wanted the kit to be altered they would of made it the way he's looking to do. I just wanted to bring it to someone attention. The nieghbor down the road flip his truck due to adding a higher rear blocks in order to make his back higher on his lift kit.
Sorry man, but that's just not true. I'm a crash safety engineer at Ford and we crash test our vehicles at all different pitches to simulate vairious extreme situations (brake pitch, trailer lift, etc.) and there's no chance of a F-150 doing a cartwheel even in 99% of real life crash situations let alone simply emergency braking.
