Body Lift Question
Ok, I bought my truck about a month ago. When I got the truck it already had a 3 inch body lift which was installed by the owner himself. Apparently they hauled a horse trailor in the past and had a hitch put on(NOT a drop hitch). To not leave a gap between the hitch and the rear bumper they left the bumper on the chassis instead of moving it up to fit with the tailgate and look like part of the truck as it did originally before the body lift...
My question is when installing a body lift how do you raise the bumper to fit the rest of the truck?
I've heard there is a bumper bracket or something you need, if so where can I get one?
Is there any alternative methods to raising the bumper?
All comments are appreciated

You don't have to use a bracket. Your rear bumper bolts on with four bolts. Just remove the bumper and reinstall it with the top hole on the frame lined up with the bottom holes on the bumper. I did this on my Screw because my brackets actually raised my bumper a tad too high and my taigait would touch my bumper's steppad when I let it down.
that easy?? i thought i was going to have a find some bracket mount or something? i sthis how all body lifts lift the rear bumper?? will me just using the 2 bolts instead of 4 make it less sturdy?
Yes, it will be less sturdy. You can stand on it and you won't have to worry about it falling off or anything. You should not tow with it, use your reciever hitch. THe brackets from my kit are just a flat piece of metal with new holes drilled in it. My rear bumper is as sturdy now as it was with the bumper relocation brackets installed.
