stupid qestion about a leveling kit

i just bought my 2 inch leveling kit in the instruction it says i need a spring depressor is that true or can be dont with out one and anwser are helpfull thanks

It depends on which brand you got. If it's an Autospring, then no you don't have to. I'm not sure about other brands.
