Body lift question

I've considered purchasing a PA 3" body lift simply because of cost plus I can still use my BFG A/T 285s that I got not even 2 months ago. I've done the searches on here and read a handful of threads about the use of aftermarket intakes and the body lift but still have a question. Does anyone out there have a 97-03 F150 with the AEM Brute Force intake with this lift? All the threads i've seen only comment on the K&N intakes.

This comes straight from AEM's website:

Q: I have a body lift on my truck. Will it affect the fit of a BRUTE FORCE intake?
A: Yes, a body lift will negatively affect the fitment of the intake unless an engine mount lift is installed to maintain proper geometry of the engine to the chassis. Most BRUTE FORCE intakes mount to the throttle body inlet and the chassis via a soft, flexible mount. If the body is lifted, the mounting points will not align correctly.

33's

How do 33's look with a 3" body lift??? Do they look to small??? I just got a set of Goodyear Wranglers 287/75/16 last week and im gonna have them for a while. I want to get a body lift but i dont want the tires to look to small..

Should i go with a 2" so the tires dont look as small or the 3"

The 285's will look fine. I ran them for years with a 3 inch body lift.
