Suspension ?s

I have a 05 Scab FX4 with a 5 1/2 foot bed which means I have a short wheelbase. Is the short wheelbase the reason why my truck is so choppy? Or, is it because I have the off-road package and therefore the suspension is tight?

If the suspension is too tight, then is there a solution to this setup?

I would greatly use the feedback.

Thanks

answered your own question its the set up you have off road would half to remove that style coilover and I will guess you have large blocks in the back too.

When first got my FX4 I was surprised at how stiff it rode also. I believe the FX4s have different shocks than the other 4x4 models which are a little stiffer, however the coil springs and blocks are the same on all 4x4s.

Some aftermarket shocks should do the trick.

So are you saying that the springs and blocks on my '04 scab, 8' box, 4x4 with 8,000 GVWR F150 is the same as all other 4x4's? This is something I have been wondering about but nobody seems to know the answer to. I would like to soften the ride if possible but don't know if there is anything I can do.

I believe your package uses stiffer springs. You do have the package that includes the 7 lug wheels, right?
