thanks alot, yea i might go with both though
crank the torsions a little at first to level it out...
and then a body lift later on...that's a really good price for the kit... how long do they take, with the right tools?

one other question:
my 2000 f150 has the cats and pre cats...so if i got a y pipe would that replace only the cats?..and leave the pre cats so im still legal
-then i wanted to run it through the stock 2.5" pipes into a flowmaster 50 series, with a 3.5" tip

would that work?

dude, i wouldn't get a body lift unless you plan on installing it yourself, because most shops will screw you over on installing BL's, if you spend a couple hundred more ($200-$300) you could get a decent suspension lift.

Are you retarded? I just said that. Twice. But a body lift installed is about $1000. Good luck getting a 4inch suspension for less than 1500 installed.

so magnaflow sound nice? even if i end up running only a single?
what should i do about the 4 cats...can i take off the 2 and leave the pre cats and still be practically legal...since there are cats?

if i got a body lift, i would do it myself...in this town, trust me, i know plenty of people that would know how to do it...

dont you have to disconnect a crap load to lift a body?

Magnaflow will sound nice, and i am not sure about the laws, i just know you have to have cats. Leave the pre-cats and you will have a nice deep tone. Body lifts are not that hard to do, just time consuming tedious work.

alright thanks bro....i'll do a body lift eventually
pre-cats...are cats hahaha
so no one can complain...
so many people in this town arent running cats or have some weird setup....no one checks...but i still want to be legal if they do

one question, if a muffler has a single inlet and dual outlets...will there be more flow and better sound?

or should i just stick with either true single or true dual?

Hell order your muffler and tips and have your local exhaust shop bend your tubes and you can have a cat back system for about $250. Thats the way to go. They can cut the cats and put in a Y pipe while they are at it.

duals coming out of muff with the 3.5" tips i want?

that sounds pretty awesome, i must say...haha im gonna do that

how do magnaflows sound compare to that deeper rumble from the 50 series flowmasters

Get a single inlet dual outlet maggy(for good sound and no loss of low end torque) or a original 40 series flowmaster(for an amazing sound and loss of low end torque) and have a shop bed your tubes and put some 3.5inch tips.

sounds good man, thanks again... i think i'll go with the magnaflow, i dont really want a loss of low end torque trail riding... and i dont want too crazy of a sound when im doing 70

guess since this is in the suspension area, i shouldnt go too far off topic...but its easier to ask all at once...

so do most shops know how to crank torsions?
i got some pretty red neck friends (no offense to any in here, they are baller as hell)
but they know how to do it, so should i get my friends to, then go get it alligned or what?
