add coil-overs to '02?

searched and couldnt find anything on the subject.

ive seen a lift kit that does a coil-over swap on the 97-04 150s. didnt see anything in the picture of the lift that added any special bracketry or something like that to make it work (don't know if it was a stand in pic or of the actual lift).

i was wondering if i could get rid of the torsion bars and put some coil-over shocks underneath the front end. if this is possible, could someone tell me the length of the stock shock up front? i wouldn't mind adding an inch or so up front.

if something wouldn't work, what is it? does the lift lower the CVs enough to add a coil-over? thanks.

The Rockkrawler coilover conversion kit had to contain something to mount the coilovers onto. THe OEM shock mounts could never support the weight of the truck.

this is the only reason you should want to put coilovers on you truck.... other wise just stick to your torsion bars...
and yes its 4x4.
