Question on Going Even Higher!!!!

Hey Everyone,

I have a 6" Pro Comp Lift with Spacers not coilovers on an 05 F-150. I can't decide if I should go with a 3" body lift OR use my previous leveling kit and add a leafs to go higher. Any pictures of the two and or pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JD

Go with the 3in body and the level. That's what I did. Check out pics in my gallery.

Iam a 2005 F150 2wd with 6" pro comp suspension (spacers) and 3" PA body lift. Iam clearing 35's easily as we speak, but looking to go to 37s and 20s down the road. I wouldnt recommend adding an additional leveling kit spacer to the 2wd pro comp suspension kit, you will have very severe angles with your upper ball joints. The only way to pull that off is to get some type of new arms, probably uni-ball arms. Hope this helps, heres some pics. -Ryan

Thanks your truck looks fantastic. Can I ask how hard was it to put the body lift on and also did you have to modify anything besides the bumpers?

I'd get the adjustable coilovers before even thinking about adding a body lift.

Thanks for the info that does help. I only have the 4.6 so I'm a little hesitant on going with the 37" so I may just stay with the 35". I currently have 33" Toyo MT with about 3000 miles on them. Unfortuanatly I have to wait until someone buys them or they wear out which may take a while.

37's wouldnt be a good idea on that 4.6, unless you regear.

Ya i would regear, and get new shocks that you could adjust. ask your self how long you are going to have your truck because a body lift isent that best thing fore it, not saying its bad just do some research before you get it.
