Please help! Leveling a 2002 FX4
I've been searching for a while but am having a hard time finding a clear cut answer on how to level a 2002 FX4. I am going to be going from the stock 265-70-17 to 305-55-20 on my truck but need a little boost. It seems my truck sits fairly level now. So my question is how do I level the front and rear? I found these on ebay.

Basically for the rear you are getting an additional 2" block to stack on top of the 2" block that is already present between the axle and leaf spring. They are also including some new, longer U-bolts to allow you to bolt on the additional 2" blocks. Some will say that stacking blocks is not a good idea but there are many that have done it. I myself am running a solid 6" block in the rear of my truck and have had no issues in 25K miles.
As for the front, you have torsion bars as oposed to coil prings. The torsion bars are adjustable... as you crank them (depending on which way) your truck will actually rise up in the front. You may want to do some searching on "cranking the torsion bars" as there is some very good detailed information on how to do that, along with pics even.
