Fabtech Lift Installed w/ Pics

I want to say thanks to everyone on the forum, they have been a huge help in deciding what lift kit to get etc. A lot of good information here. Anyways, here is my truck, I just got it lifted, let me know what you think.

6" Fabtech
20" Budnik Wheels (20x9.5 w/ 4.75" BS)
35x12.50x20 Mud Grapplers
Baer Brakes

Looks good! Did you have to do anything to the rear end to level it out? I'm thinking of a Fabtech left as well, but I hear that after you install the lift, it ends up being a little higher in the nose. Also, I assume I would have to take off my AS 2.5" leveling kit if I installed a 6" Fabtech lift??

My truck just has the block that came with the kit. I expected it to be a little lower in the back, which I like, but I will probably leave it. I would probably take your leveling kit out, IMO.

I had a hard time finding a nice aluminum diff cover, but the shop that lifted my truck sells them for $100. I know alot of guys that want one but couldnt find it anywhere.

Your truck looks awesome. I like those wheels. Are they polished or chrome? They look polished.

Thanks for the great compliments guys..... The wheels are billet and they are polished and brushed aluminum. The outer is of course polished and most of the center is brushed with the polished accents. Then completely cleared for easy cleaning.

street - if you don't mind me asking, did your wheels come clear coated or did you have them clear coated before they were installed? I just go some polished weld's and was thinking about getting them clearcoated....

My wheels were clear coated brand new after they were built but before they were mounted. It is a ceramic clearcoat that only a few companies do...... I strongly do not recommend getting the clear powdercoat. Over time it will yellow and fade. It does maybe dull the shine 5% but it is well worth it when you never have to polish the wheel.
