I recently got a set of 5000's for the truck. they come compressed in the box. how do you extend them for installation?

Just grab each end with your hands and pull them into the extended position.

 

really? that's what the guy from Summit said too. I thought he was misunderstanding me. Wouldn't be the first time I wasn't clear about an issue.
So I have to extend them than compress them to install? That will suck. Have to give it a shot though.
