Lift-Level or What?????

I have an 07 F150 XL reg cab 4.2L 5 spd. OEM Hankook tires P235/70R17 and OEM steel wheels.
I measured from the fender to the ground. 36 1/2" front and 37" rear. I assume that all trucks don't need leveling? The OEM tires are 30". So if I went to a 33" I would gain 1 1/2".( I want to stay with 17" wheels) What would be the best way to lift another 1 1/2" to 2 1/2"?? Body lift, or suspension lift, or ???
I won't be doing this right away. I have other things I want first as I get the money to do them. I just like having things all figured out.

I'd add a 2 or 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit if you want to run 33's.

Wandell Does the 2" leveling kit just raise the front?? If so do I need 1 1/2" blocks in the rear to keep it level? Or did I measure wrong?

Yeah, the AS kit just raises the front. Whether or not you raise the rear is just personal preference. I think a 2 inch AS kit would make your truck sit just about perfectly level.

Thanks wandell. It seems that you are one of the most knowledgeable on here. If you don't care when it gets closer to me doing this I might pick your brain some more.
