Torsion crank vs. AS 2" leveling kit

So I've done some searching and reading and now my question is: It seems like cranking the torsion bars for approx. avg $10.00 vs. the $90.00 AS leveling kit accomplishes the same thing. What's the difference because I just ordered my AS 2" from Autospring less than an hour ago. Am I better off with the AS? I am leveling my 2005 XLT FX2 supercrew.

Matlan77, your truck does not have torsion bars. It' the 97-03 4x4's that have torsion bars.

Is my truck going to sit level just by adding the AS 2" to the front? It is an '05 Screw 4X2 stock. WIll I need to raise the back too? I'm thinking now by reading the other posts that the front is going to be higher than the rear with the AS2" by itself, or will it look ok.

You should be close to level with the 2 inch AS. Some members have reported their front was very slightly higher than the rear with the 2.5 inch AS.
