Spacers and blocks

I have a 94 f150 standard cab shortbed 2wd. Looking into getting about 2 or 3 inches of lift without spending a ton of money. Would spacers and blocks be worth the time and money?
And, what other mods would be neccesary with about a 2 or 3 inch lift?

Any input will be appreciated

Yeah, I'd go with Daystar spacers and blocks out back (if you need them). I'd also add a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will there be any adverse effects to the drive shaft angle or steering that would need to be taken care of?
