Lowering a 2007 FX2 Screw

Hello everyone, I have joined the truck world and I would like to lower my 2007 FX2 but supposedly you can't lower it as easily at the 2006. Something changed so the quick 2" lowering in the rear is not working. I am having a hard time finding information on how to even lower the 2007. Are their kits out yet for lowering the maybe the whole truck or maybe springs?

Higher Truckers

You might want to try a different forum ( FordF-150.net ) this forum here doesn't do much in the way of lowering. Good luck

I don't think there is much different on your truck than others (2004+).

Does the fx2 come with a 2 inch drop already? That's the only thing I could think of to make it different, but I didn't think it did.

Do you just want to drop the back? Or the whole truck?

I think the 07 2wd's come with a 1" block in the leafpack.

I just want to lower the rear 2" so it matches the front. I learned that on the 04-06 they just had to remove a block or add one and blamo, but on the 07 something is different. Thanks for the help everyone, I will also try that other forum as well.

Block removal is on the 04-06 4X4's. 04-06 2wd's took shackles to lower the rear since there's no block to remove.

I would go into the street scene forum on this site. They have a lot of good information and helpful members.
