How bad are the angles

How bad are the angles on the ball joints with an AS (or other level kit) 2.5" front lift? I don't want to be replaceing ball joints all the time. Also do they cause any other problems at all, or just premature ball joints? Lifted F150

There are many variables that will determine what problems you will come across. Such as: Is your truck a 4x4 or 4x2? Do you off road much? My experience with a leveling kit which was a pro comp poly spacer was the ball joints were in no danger, yea a little extreme but not danger.

as long as your boot stays on the ball joint your fine

or if it falled off put it back on and grease it...

as long as you can do the 2 things then they are fine

CV JOINT's tho...

you will rip boots

only a matter of time

Its a 4x2 and not a whole lot of off roading will be done. I will use it to get my quadrunner into the areas I need to so I can play with it instead of the truck. When I do go off road it is going to be open bumpy areas with loose dirt, or the sand dunes/beaches. I mostly need the front lift to get in some tires that will give me the traction I need. If I go with the smaller lift and 33's instead of 35's then I can use the extra $ on gears and a rear locker.

What difference does it make between 4x2 or 4x4?

You don't have CV joints to worry about on a 4x2.
